pH Booster for Boiling Water Treatment



The pH booster is a liquid alkaline formulation used as an alkalinity source for boiler feed water. It is synergized with properties of pH boosting and water conditioning. It minimizes corrosion of feed water tank, lines, and pump, Imparting water and sludge conditioning to minimize scaling and deposition.

Boiler feedwater or makeup water pH should be maintained ideally between 8.5 & 9.5 in order to minimize the corrosion. PH control is related to Acidic Corrosion- Low makeup or feedwater pH can cause serious acid attacks on metal surfaces in the boiler system. Therefore to prevent acidic corrosion PH is maintained in the Alkaline range.

Proper safety precautions should be taken while handling and applying chemicals such as Splash goggles, Lab coat, Vapor Respirator, Gloves, and boots should be worn. Please refer to the MSDS for Details.

A pH adjuster is a chemical used to alter the pH or Potential Hydrogen level. pH (Potential Hydrogen) is the measurement of the activity of the hydrogen ion or how basic or acidic something is.
